TV Finland

TV Finland, the Finnish equivalent of SVT Europa, is transmitted over the air in the Stockholm area. Copyswede licenses retransmission rights to The National Association of Finns in Sweden which has been granted the transmission concession. The remuneration is financed by the Swedish State and amounts to slightly less than SEK 4 million per annum. The Finnish TV corporations receive 38% of this remuneration and Kopiosto the remainder, once a deduction is made for the composers´ share. STIM in turn transfers this share to its Finnish sister organisation Teosto.
